FORM OF STUDIES: 

  • full-time studies - classes are held from Monday to Friday.
  • part-time studies - classes are held on weekends and occasionally on Friday afternoons (with the use of distance learning methods).

For both full-time and part-time programs, classes take place on campus in university teaching facilities, including lecture halls, classrooms, and laboratories. The curriculum also includes selected courses delivered using distance learning methods and techniques. These classes are included in the timetable and are conducted in a synchronous format via the university’s educational platform.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Physiotherapy program is an interdisciplinary field of study focused on health sciences, medicine, social sciences, and physical culture. It provides students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to independently practice as a physiotherapist.

RECOMMENDED PREDISPOSITIONS TO COMMENCE STUDIES

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:

  • demonstrate empathy and the ability to build relationships with patients
  • have good manual skills and tactile sensitivity
  • be able to understand and respond to patients’ needs
  • work effectively in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals

LONG CYCLE MASTER’S STUDIES

The program prepares students to perform a regulated medical profession and is distinguished by a high number of practical classes conducted in hospitals and outpatient clinics. Highly qualified academic staff ensure high–quality theoretical and practical training.

GRADUATE PROFILE

Graduates of the Physiotherapy program acquire the skills necessary to support individuals with functional limitations or those recovering after illness or injury. They are prepared to develop, maintain, and restore motor functions, alleviate symptoms of various conditions, and apply strategies aimed at preventing disease progression and recurrence.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to plan and carry out a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including kinesiotherapy, physical therapy, massage, manual therapy, biological regeneration, and functional diagnostics. They will also be able to select appropriate prosthetic and orthopedic equipment and implement preventive measures to reduce the risk of disease and movement disorders.
