The admission process for studies conducted in English for the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year will start on 28 April 2026.

FORM OF STUDIES:
- full-time studies - classes are held from Monday to Friday.
- part-time studies - classes are held on weekends and occasionally on Friday afternoons (with the use of distance learning methods).
For both full-time and part-time programs, classes take place on campus in university teaching facilities, including lecture halls, classrooms, and laboratories. The curriculum also includes selected courses delivered using distance learning methods and techniques. These classes are included in the timetable and are conducted in a synchronous format via the university’s educational platform.
FIELD DESCRIPTION
Design is one of the most inspiring and creative fields of study offered by the University.
Students have the opportunity to explore the art of fashion design, including clothing, footwear, accessories, and jewelry design.
It is a unique discipline that combines artistic creativity and manual skills with the technical competence required to operate professional graphic design software as well as sewing machines and specialized equipment.

A candidate for the Design program should:

FIRST-CYCLE STUDIES
The first-cycle Design program develops students’ passion for creativity and design, offering insight into the fascinating world of fashion and its principles.
Through collaboration with renowned Polish and international fashion designers, students gain exposure to diverse creative techniques and professional approaches.
Workshops are conducted using high-quality graphic software and modern computer-aided design systems supporting the design and construction of garments.
The program combines theoretical and practical learning, developing skills in fashion design, garment construction, drawing, photography, sewing techniques, jewelry design and creation, as well as footwear and accessory design.
Students learn the principles of sustainable fashion (eco-fashion) and are introduced to traditional craftsmanship techniques used in the decoration and creation of garments and accessories, as well as recycling and upcycling methods for textiles and clothing.
The culmination of the studies is the Fashion Show and Diploma Gala – a prestigious event and one of the most significant platforms for showcasing emerging designers.

- Artistic workshop (plein-air) – 1 week
- Design workshop (plein-air) – 1 week
- Professional internship – 22 weeks
GRADUATE PROFILE
Graduates of the Design program are recognized for their creativity, technical proficiency, and knowledge of professional design software, construction, and production technologies.
They are capable of designing and creating their own fashion collections or individual elements, and they possess a broad understanding of the fashion industry.
Graduates can pursue professional careers as fashion designers, stylists, fashion critics, collection managers, or fashion journalists.
