COMPUTER SCIENCE – FIRST-CYCLE STUDIES
The admission process for studies conducted in English for the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year will start on 28 April 2026.

FORM OF STUDIES:
- full-time studies - classes are held from Monday to Friday.
- part-time studies - classes are held on weekends and occasionally on Friday afternoons (with the use of distance learning methods).
For both full-time and part-time programs, classes take place on campus in university teaching facilities, including lecture halls, classrooms, and laboratories. The curriculum also includes selected courses delivered using distance learning methods and techniques. These classes are included in the timetable and are conducted in a synchronous format via the university’s educational platform.
FIELD DESCRIPTION
During the course of the studies, students acquire knowledge and skills in the general areas of computer science and become familiar with the operation of modern computer systems, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and methodologies used in software engineering.
The program is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical abilities necessary to succeed in the dynamically evolving IT industry. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, enabling students to understand both fundamental and advanced aspects of computer science.

PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS
The professional internship aims to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Internships are mandatory and take place over a period of 8 weeks (minimum 320 hours) during academic breaks.
