CAREER GAME 2026

Academic Career Office of the Academy of Silesia invites students of AŚ and other universities to participate in the nationwide project “Career Game”, which will take place on 9–13 March 2026. It is a series of free trainings, workshops and inspirational meetings that will help participants develop key competencies and increase their chances on the labour market.

What is the Career Game?

Career Game is a nationwide project carried out under the patronage of the Commission for Academic Career Offices at Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, the aim of which is:

  • promoting the activities of Academic Career Offices,
  • developing cooperation between universities,
  • strengthening the role of Career Offices in the academic and professional environment,
  • supporting students in conscious career planning.

As part of this year’s edition, participants will be able to take part in various events conducted by experts, business practitioners and career advisors.

Nationwide online debate

The event will conclude with a nationwide online debate, which will take place on Friday, 13 March 2026. We invite everyone interested in career development and cooperation between academia and the labour market to participate.

For whom?

The events are addressed to students of Academy of Silesia and students of other higher education institutions. It is an excellent opportunity to gain practical knowledge, develop soft skills and establish valuable professional contacts.

The lecture presents real-world insights into alternative career paths for physicians, focusing on clinical research and the pharmaceutical industry. The lecture will be conducted in English.

A few words about what an architect actually does, what architecture is and what types of architecture exist. Introduction to the work of an architect, discussion of the scope of their activities, cooperation with other industry specialists, and several case studies from the speaker’s own projects.

How to effectively save lives after graduating from medical studies?
During the lecture, the State Medical Rescue system in Poland will be discussed. The topics will include the National Medical Rescue Monitoring Centre, the Medical Dispatch Centre, the Medical Rescue Team, the Air Medical Rescue Team and the position of the Voivodeship Medical Rescue Coordinator. The role of a person graduating from a medical programme and the possibilities of positioning themselves within the PRM system will be emphasized.

How to write an effective CV and cover letter? (Як написати ефективне CV та мотиваційний лист)
During the meeting, participants will learn the principles of creating a CV and cover letter in line with the expectations of Polish employers. The lecture will be conducted in Ukrainian.

Під час зустрічі учасники дізнаються про принципи створення CV та мотиваційного листа відповідно до очікувань польських роботодавців. Лекція проводитиметься українською мовою.
