INTERIOR DESIGN - II CYCLE STUDIES
CANDIDATE WITH A FOREIGN DIPLOMA - GRADUATES OF THE INTERIOR DESIGN PROGRAM
Candidates in the recruitment procedure are accepted:
- based on a first-degree diploma in Interior Design (Bachelor’s degree).
What should be prepared before making an account on the recruitment portal?
- Scan of a document entitling to apply for admission to II cycle studies,
- original foreign diploma or another university graduation document giving the opportunity to start second-cycle studies in the country where it was issued or a copy of the diploma of higher education prepared by the Polish university that issued the diploma authorizing to undertake second-cycle studies (completed field of study: interior design)
- original diploma Supplement or Assessment Transcript
- Scan of the apostille or legalization of the document entitling to apply for admission to studies,
- apostille is confirmation that a document comes from an appropriate office - it determines authenticity. Thanks to this, you can use it abroad. An apostille is suitable if the document is to be used abroad in a country that is party to the Hague Convention from 1961 about Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents.
- legalization is carried out if a document is to be intended for legal circulation in a country which is not a party to the Hague Convention from 1961 about Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents.
- Scan of a sworn translation of the document entitling to apply for admission to II cycle studies bearing apostille / with legalization,
- documents issued abroad that have an apostille or are legalized in the country of issue must be translated by a sworn translator into Polish or English or the translation should be certified by a Polish consul (the document translated into English must be translated by a sworn translator into Polish by the beginning of classes).

- Scan of a document certifying knowledge of the language of instruction at B2 level,

What do you need to do to apply for studies?
- Create an account on the recruitment portal and complete candidate profile information.
- Apply for the chosen course of study.
- Attach required documents and an electronic biometric proof photograph,
- Make the recruitment fee payment to the individual bank account number generated on the candidate's profile and attach the payment confirmation.
After completion of the steps, expect to receive a message about the results of the recruitment process. This will appear on your individual account on the recruitment portal.
What do I need to prepare once I have received my admission information?
- Original foreign diploma bearing apostille / with legalization – for inspection,
- Original diploma Supplement or Assessment Transcript bearing apostille / with legalization – for inspection,
- Sworn translation of the original foreign diploma bearing apostille / with legalization – for inspection,
- Sworn translation of the original diploma Supplement or Assessment Transcript bearing apostille / with legalization – for inspection,
- Original document certifying knowledge of the language of instruction at B2 level – for inspection,
- Health insurance valid in Poland – for inspection,
- a foreigner going to study in Poland should have a document confirming the possession of a health insurance policy or the European Health Insurance Card for a given academic year, or coverage of general health insurance within the meaning of the provisions of the Act of 27 August 2004 on health care services financed from public funds), or confirmation of coverage by the insurer of costs treatment in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
- A visa or a residence card or another document entitling to stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland – for inspection,
- the university issues a document confirming admission to studies in the full-time mode that allows you to apply for a visa or other document confirming the right to stay in Poland).

- Confirmation of enrolment fee payment generated in PDF file from the Bank on paper,
- ID card – for inspection,
Submit the aforementioned documents to the Academy of Silesia (Katowice, 43 Rolna Street) within the specified deadline to confirm your willingness to study by signing an agreement for the provision of education services.
The agreement can be signed electronically (using Autenti/electronic qualified signature) on the condition that the original documents are presented beforehand.
Medical Certificate
A candidate admitted to studies is required to submit an original medical certificate containing an opinion that there are no contradictions to study at a selected field of study. The medical certificate must be obtained after performing a preliminary medical examination based on a referral issued by the International Cooperation Department. The certificate must be issued on a form containing a reference to the provisions of the regulation of the Minister of Health from 26 August 2019 on medical examinations for secondary and higher education institutions and vocational qualifying courses, for the students of these schools, participants of vocational qualifying courses, and Ph.D., students, must specify the candidate's suitability to study at the medical field of study as well as the expiration date of the certificate.
The candidate independently chooses the location of the occupational health examination and covers the cost of the examination. Immediately after completing the mandatory examination, the original medical certificate must be submitted to the appropriate Dean’s Office.
