Accepted Documents Confirming Proficiency in English at B2 Level or Higher
| Candidates with EU citizenship (i.e. citizens of the Member States of the European Union, the Member States of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as well as citizens of the Swiss Confederation and the United Kingdom) who are applying for admission to studies on the basis of a foreign document that grants access to higher education and qualifies as a document referred to in Article 326a(1) of the Law on Higher Education and Science* are required to submit one of the following documents: | Candidates with EU citizenship (i.e. citizens of the Member States of the European Union, the Member States of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as well as citizens of the Swiss Confederation and the United Kingdom) who are applying for admission on the basis of a foreign document that does not grant access to higher education and does not qualify as a document referred to in Article 326a(1) of the Law on Higher Education and Science*, as well as candidates with non-EU citizenship, are required to submit one of the following documents: |

Documents referred to in Article 326a(1) of the Law on Higher Education and Science:
The right to apply for admission to first-cycle (Bachelor’s) or long-cycle Master’s studies in the Republic of Poland is confirmed by the following:
Certificates and other documents issued by a school or educational institution operating within the education system of a European Union Member State, a Member State of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), or a Member State of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area – which entitle the holder to apply for admission to first-cycle and long-cycle Master's degree programmes in those countries;
IB Diplomas (International Baccalaureate) issued by the International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva;
EB Diplomas (European Baccalaureate) issued by European Schools in accordance with the Convention defining the Statute of the European Schools, signed in Luxembourg on 21 June 1994 (Journal of Laws of 2005, item 10);
Certificates and other documents issued abroad by schools or educational institutions recognized by the state in whose territory or within whose education system they operate, covered by the provisions of international agreements.
